Carla Corsey, Psy.D. is a Psychology Associate practicing under the supervision Scott E. Smith, Ph.D.  She works with children, adolescents, and adults coping with a wide variety of psychological conditions including anxiety, attachment, dependency, depression, bipolar disorder, identity development, interpersonal difficulties, ADHD. She likes to work with school-related challenges such as academic stress, dissatisfaction, and adjustment.

 

Dr. Corsey has experience working in a variety of clinical settings including Baltimore Lab School in Baltimore, MD and the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents in Baltimore, MD.  She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds providing psychotherapy and administering psychological assessments in residential treatment facilities, community counseling centers, and the public school system.  She completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at the Fifth Avenue Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy in New York, NY.  Dr. Corsey has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Education, and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University.

 

Dr. Corsey is originally from Maryland, and has her undergraduate degree from Towson University, her graduate degree from Bowie State University, and her doctorate from Argosy University.
